To me being a nurse is more than a job title, it is a compilation of my knowledge, skill set and emotions that will come with me whether I am working under that title or not. My nursing experiences and background will provide me with better Mommy skills and even more so, having this license can get us into countries that are closed to Christian missionaries if we feel called to go to such a country.
Tomorrow, we celebrate with family at Kelly's and our "we graduated/going to college/moving to Louisville" party! At the age of 16, when I daydreamed about my life with Louie, I honestly thought this point in our lives would NEVER come. We are finally embarking on a life of our own away from family and the city we both grew up in because we have heard God's call to go to seminary and start a family. I am so ready for this to happen.
